CREST Member
A CREST participant holding dematerialised stock (see dematerialised holdings) in stock accounts. A member is the legal owner of the securities and will appear in the company register. Typical Crest members include market makers, broker-dealers, inter-dealer brokers, stock borrowing and lending intermediaries, institutional investors and custodians.
